At the end of March, 50 members of our church gathered together to learn how to engage with the Holy Spirit in a process called Appreciative Inquiry.  The fruit of the Appreciative Inquiry Process is that various members of our church will be trying out various experiments to learn from them and better discern how God is guiding us to live out the gospel mission. Thus, this summer will be a time of exploratory visioning and just trying things out. The experiments are listed by theme, so scroll down to see where you fit in! All members of the PAVC community are invited to participate in various creative mission endeavors. This is truly a context where EVERYONE GETS TO PLAY! Feel free to contact any of the experiment leaders if you would like to join them.

Sign up to join the debrief where we will discern what God is teaching us about reaching out to the community around us!

On Friday, April 18, from 8 pm to midnight, we will host a time of worship, prayer, prophecy, and healing as led by the Holy Spirit in the main sanctuary following our Good Friday service.  (Note: Watch night comes from Jesus’ request to the disciples to “watch and prayer” with him on the night before his crucifixion.)

COLLECTIVE COURAGE

Bandwidth Audit/Discussion Group
This group will meet to courageously be vulnerable with one another to process our respective busy-ness, and to reflect/observe why so many of us are always at 98% bandwidth.  We will, together, help one another discover where we can step into the uncomfortable, as well as where we can step away from the comfortable. The plan is to meet 2-3 times (dates TBD) and see where it goes from there.
